Blog Post Series (5 Articles)
Do you find yourself asking these questions often?
Well, even though we’re used to writing and reading ‘regular’ blog posts, there’s more to the world of blogging than that.
Crafting good content is sometimes a daunting task for even the most experienced writers and may seem like a mission impossible.
I’ll help you kick your blogging game up a notch by creating a blog post series. To be more precise, I’ll examine a topic (tips and tutorials related to your niche) in a more comprehensive way and in that way help you educate your readers and build momentum on your blog.
If you have a blog and want to engage your existing readers and get new ones, a blog post series is a surefire way to do it. Posting more than one article on some topic has various benefits:
Keep in mind that your website readers are more likely to share this type of content, which in turn means that search engines will give credit to it.
Choosing A Topic For A Blog Post Series
The very first thing I’ll do is decide on a topic. Prior to dedicating a post to a certain topic that’s related to your niche and investing both time and effort into writing it, I’ll do research into what topics are relevant and ‘evergreen’. In my opinion, tips, tutorials, guides and how-to articles work best for a blog post series, as they can be written in several parts. I’ll give each of the articles an in-depth look and make sure they contain 1000+ words.
Conducting Keyword Research
To ensure your blog posts are SEO-friendly, I’ll do keyword research and optimize these articles (don’t worry, keyword stuffing is a no-no). I’ll resort to Google Keyword Planner as well as Ahrefs to identify and take advantage of both short and long-tail keywords. In addition, to find the right keywords based on user intent in the real world, I’ll also conduct semantic keyword research by using the LSI Keyword Generator.
Writing Down A Plan
After choosing a topic and conducting keyword research, the next step is making a plan for the blog post series. What this means is that I’ll decide on a schedule and create an outline, explaining what is going to be covered in these articles. Every successive post will be written with your audience in mind. As for the outline, I’ll create one for every article. By doing this, I’ll ensure that each article continues where the previous left off. Of course, this plan will be sent to you for approval.
Crafting 5 Articles
Once you approve the topic and outline, I’ll start writing these 5 articles. To craft the best possible content, I’ll enlist the help of Cambridge Advanced Learner’s Dictionary, Oxford Collocation Dictionary and the Hemingway Editor App. Articles will link to each other and, depending on the type of content, include relevant data and screenshots. Needless to say, every article will be subject to change.
Moreover, I’ll also create an introduction to the blog post series that explains the topic and what each article will touch upon. This intro will serve as a separate unit/announcement and as such should be published before the blog post series.
What do you need from me?
Even though I’ll conduct keyword research, you can tell me if there are some specific keywords you want to target. In addition, you should give me some more info about your business and what you want to achieve with these blog posts.
Is the niche my business is in relevant for this service?
No, it’s not. I can write on any given topic.
How long will it take you to write these 5 articles?
I will create these posts in two weeks’ time.
