So here’s the thing: If you’re coming to me with a strong e-mail program in place, my copy will help. If your e-mail program isn’t so great, that’s okay. I can help make it better. But if you just flat-out don’t abide by best practices (solid opt-in practices, list hygiene, etc.), my copy isn’t going to make a bit of difference. You’ve gotta have a solid program in place to be successful.

1: This is a side hustle, so I have many things to juggle.2: I don’t want to just throw something together—I want to make sure I get it right. 3: It’s a fair turnaround time for both parties.
What if the e-mail you write copy for doesn’t perform well?
We’ll re-evaluate and try again. Sometimes it takes trial and error, A/B testing and whatnot. (I can help you with that.) Also, like I mentioned before, if you don’t have a solid foundation on which to build, my copy’s not going to make much of a difference.
