It doesn’t matter if you’re a complete newbie when it comes to webinars or you have created one or two over the years—what matters is the fact that you are considering using webinars as lead magnets, which is awesome!

Let’s dig in a little deeper and talk about what you will actually get, now that we’ve agreed to leave your grandma out of the whole ordeal.

What Do I Want to Achieve With This Service?

Here’s what I know: both you and I want to get as many leads as possible to this webinar, and I know you want to get even more leads than that out of it. We are on the same page here, which is great.

All the activities that I’m going to do have one goal in common—to put your webinar in front of the right people. To do that, I will have to combine a set of organic activities (getting into the right groups, finding the right people to talk to, etc.) and paid activities (promoting the webinar to the right target audience).

What Does The Service Include?

Believe it or not, this service won’t focus on the webinar so much—it will focus more on the activities I mentioned above.

1) Preparing the webinar visuals

Before I can start calling people to join your webinar, I have to ensure that you have quality and appealing visuals for it. This involves creating a specific landing page for the webinar, which can be either on your website (if it’s WordPress-based) or on Unbounce (which is super cool for these kinds of campaigns) and specific promotion banners for social media.

2) Preparing your website for the webinar

Of course, the majority of your potential leads are your website visitors, which is why it is very important to ensure your website tells them everything about the upcoming webinar. That being said, I will have to create a variety of things for your website, from the hello bar to a pop-up with a call-to-action, and even a blog post (or two).

3) Preparing your social media for the webinar

Social media will have an important role in the promotion of your webinar, no matter if it’s paid or organic. Events on Facebook are an awesome way to tell others about the webinar you are hosting and to become a part of communities. From Facebook and Twitter, to Slack and Quora—wherever your target audience is, your webinar will be, too!

4) Preparing email campaigns

Your email database (if you don’t have it, it can be bought) will play an important role in the promotion, too. Not only will I focus on creating content for those emails, but we will also plan the best schedule for your email campaigns together, so that your potential leads don’t miss the invite and the webinar.

5) Researching the community and niche influencers

There is no better way to spread the word about the webinar than to get someone important to tell others about it. If you know that someone, that’s even better! If not, I will do research and do my best to get you their share for free (or paid, if your budget allows it).

6) Promoting the webinar

This is where we should go all out: from using PPC to creating a buzz about it. Everything from previous steps will be used at this point. From this moment to the webinar, it will all be about spreading the word and collecting the leads.

What Results Can You Expect From This Service?

It is obvious, but let me say it once for the record: you can expect relevant people signing up for your webinar. That’s it.

Before we seal the deal, I’m going to need a couple of things from you:

  • Information about your webinar.
  • Information about your business and niche.
  • Temporary access to your website or an Unbounce account.
  • Temporary access to your mailing software where your leads are stored (in case you want me to send mails directly).
  • Connection with your designer(s) (if you have them).
  • Information about any relevant “someone” in your niche.
  • Budget you are ready to spend.
  • Communities you are already in.

How long does it take to prepare and promote a webinar?
The best thing to do is start promoting your webinar one to two weeks before you’re set to host it. So please, if you want your webinar to be a huge success, plan to contact me 7-14 days before it, so that I can prepare everything and promote it right.

How much money should I prepare for my webinar?
The more you prepare, the better! If you are not sure whether your budget will be enough, let me know how much you’re willing to spend and we will discuss it after we determine which channels I’m going to use to target your audience.

I don’t have a designer, can you provide me with the visuals?
Of course! That was the plan—if you have a designer, it will be my pleasure to work with them. If not, well don’t worry, I will create everything for you. 🙂

I don’t have an email list. Can I still use this service?
Of course you can. If you don’t have an email list (start building it this moment!), I will mainly rely on niche influencers and other type of promotion.
